OUR DEEPEST FEAR:
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We are all born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates other.

The above reading taken from Marianne Williamson's book is very inspiring. This poem has been my guiding light during major life changes, as I believe it is for a lot of people. I believe each time we hit a crossroads in our lives we have to confront our deepest fears, not about being inadequate, but about letting our lights burn brightly enough to become the people we were intended to be.
Love and Fear are the basis of all emotions on this planet right now. We are on the edge of a huge global shift in consciousness away from the fear that's held us captive generation after generation.
We are re-awakening to our true essence which is LOVE. Many people associate this particular era with the end of the Mayan Calendar said to be December 2012.
With Spirit's help, we are beginning to REMEMBER who we really are. Look at the word 're-member,' and you will see it means 'to put back together again.'
You could say that each one of us is a vital piece of the jigsaw puzzle.
Without our co-operation that puzzle can never be complete.
Even though we have distinct personalities and appear to be separate individuals, at the deepest level we are all one. And the essence of that one is LOVE. It's the glue which binds the Universe together.
No-one exists outside of this basic structure. But the one thing which divorces us from our sense of One (Unity Consciousness) is fear, and fear is pretty powerful stuff.
Since we are beginning to move into the unknown (i.e. a new level of cocnsicousness) there are very few benchmarks in this new and unknown territory. This can create more fear, even though we are trying to loosen its strangle hold. You may even be tempted to 'stay with the devil you know' rather than move on in your life.
Fear of course is an illusion. No-one can exist outside the whole. No-one is any less important than anyone else. But we can still get hooked back into it. This emotion very often leaves us feeling isolated and alone. At the very moment we need to remember our true essence, we may collapse back into fear.
Now since nothing can exist outside of Universal Love, why is it that so many of us fear the unknown. The unknown space we so much fear is another aspect of the Universe waiting to reveal its treasures to us.
Whilst its important to identify areas where we feel improvements could be made, we need to do it without un-necessary criticism, because criticism creates fear, and fear can separate us from our spiritual self.
FEAR CREATES CONFRONTATION WHEN IN FACT WE NEED CO-OPERATION.
And loving co-operation is the cement which binds the whole jigsaw together. Its important to remember just how easy it is to fall back into fear when we are at the cutting edge of the new consciousness.
Take time out during each day to check whether you have slipped back into judgemental fear and confrontation rather than co-operation.
Remember the unknown is filled with the essence of love and if we can all hold fast to that vision of compassionate love, we can all implement great changes together because we are all part of the same jigsaw puzzle called life.
