Sweet child of light and love, in this space you are one with all things, the Sun, Moon and Stars, be at peace with yourself. Rest in the Arms of the Divinity.
(an example of Inspirational Writing from Gillian)
Inspirational writing touches the Divinity within and has the potential to create true change in our lives.
Our writing is either inspired by our Guides, or the Divine Aspect of ourselves, otherwise known as the Higher Self.
It's not so much the quantity we write, but the quality, and what we choose to do with what we receive. It's a bit like receiving clairvoyant symbols. They can be interpreted on a number of levels, so can writing you receive.
- the words themselves may be inspiring, and get you moving forward
- they may give you a deep sense of feeling supported
- or the words may inspire you to take certain actions to improve your life
When I first started to receive inspirational writing or even channelling, my Guide would always begin with the above short paragraph. At first I took it as simply my guide orin's signature, just to let me know he was there before we really got cracking.
It wasn't until a bit later that I really began to appreciate some of the depth of some of the wisdom in that tiny paragraph. Still later I discovered that my quote was very similar to a verse in the Upanishads (asacred Indian text) which began,
In the centre of your own body, there is a small shrine in the form of a lotus flower. And within it can be found a small space. The heaven and the earth are there; the sun, the moon and the stars; fire and ightning and winds. The whole universe dwells within our heart. Page 117, chapter 5, 'Happy for No Reason' by Marci Shimoff and published by Simon and Shuster.
That gave me real goose bumps, but was all the validation I needed that something was definitely going on outside of the normal box when I settle down for a writing session.
The space mentioned in the script of course is the HEART SPACE; this is indeed the space where we are all one. This space is fuelled by love, which is the foundation of the entire Universe, including us. In this space love becomes the fuel for self-expression, a bit like the ink fueling the pen. It has the potential to take us to a higher and a much more productive and creative sense of self-awareness.
Although all inspirational writing is comforting, you can sometimes feel the love, peace and harmony oozing from the page. It doesn't stop there, our writing can show us ways to move forward in our lives which are much more effective. It has the potential to teach us how to dance with life, rather than struggle with life's traumas.
As we begin to trust the writing process with open mind and heart, we begin to realise that for every problem there is always a creative solution. But we need to trust the process and understand we are all equal parts of a loving universe. The one thing that keeps us separate from our heart's desire is our belief that we are not worthy of such love. A lot of us have this sense of unworthiness as our core belief. Inspirational Writing, however take sus back to the Heart of the Matter and that is 'we are all one and therefore equal.'
From this 'small shrine at the centre of our bodies', miracles can and do happen.
